Yemtar was founded by İsmail ÇOLAK in order to design, produce, and set up turnkey feed factories and to perform relevant novelties in Turkey and the world.

Yemtar set out with the vision of producing at international quality standards and expanding its global market share with new expansions, made its first export to Nigeria.

Growing day by day, improving the quality of service while growing, Yemtar became a joint-stock company and moved to the new factory facilities.

Yemtar continued to carry the feed industry and livestock sector forward and realized its first international turnkey project in Algeria. In Turkey, it started the production of the first forged chain conveyor chain. In the same year, the company also exported to Sudan.

Investing its gains in the most advanced technologies, Yemtar continued to introduce novelties and produced the first plastic elevator bucket in Turkey.
