Raw Materials Used in Feed Production

Raw Materials Used in Feed Production

Today, it is better understood that one of the most important elements of life chain is Health. Proper and balanced nutrition is critical for healthy generations. Animal products, the most important protein source, are the basis of a healthy diet. Animal health depends on proper and hygienic diets. Therefore, special feeds that they can consume are produced for them. Care is taken to ensure that all natural feed raw materials used in compound feed production are of approprite quality and ratio for the formulation.

Ration and Effects

Balanced and proper nutrition is indispensable for obtaining quality yield from cattle, ovine and poultry. There is a food group that must be consumed for animals to have high efficiency and good performance. It is very important for animals to be able to receive a balanced nutrient that can meet the energy, Protein, Vitamin and Minerals they need within the right diet. For this purpose, feed compositions containing sufficient amount of carbohydrate, protein and fat mixture as well as minerals and vitamins are called “recipe”. Formulated Recipe is economical feed mixtures that meet the daily nutritional needs of animals in appropriate proportions. The more accurately the recipe is formulated, the better efficiency will be. As the price of the quality product purchased from animals will increase, there will be an increase in output between economic inputs and outputs, and people dealing with animal husbandry will earn more. In this sense, animal feeds are always expected to be both economical and of high quality. Feed mixes need to protect the health of the animals as well as obtaining efficient crops. Based on all these requirements, it is important to examine animal feed from the field to the warehouse, from there to the feeding stage and then to fertilizer. These reviews give you information about the proportions of the mixture to be prepared. The important point here is that the animal eats with pleasure and that the food does not cause various ailments such as bloating.

Feed Production

The feeds used by bovine, ovine and poultry at the stage of growth and maturity are different. Due to all these differences, the proportions and contents of the feeds they take also change. Some of the raw materials used in animal feed production and their properties are as follows:

Energy Source Feed Raw Materials

• Cereals - (Corn, Wheat, Barley, Rye, Triticale)

It is a feed raw material used for all cattle, ovine and poultry animals. It is very necessary because of the high nutritional value components such as protein, starch and oil it contains.

• Vegetable Oils

It is an important food source in the nutrition of all animals.

Milling and Starch Industry By-Products

• Corn Gluten

Corn gluten is a very important food with its high protein content. It also contains amino acids such as methionine and cystine. These amino acids provide high energy as well as protein. In this sense, corn gluten is used as an important protein source, especially in poultry diets.

• Masaration Water

Masaration water is the first by-product of corn processing plants. While the corn seeds are washed, soluble protein, carbohydrate and proteins are mixed into the water. Masaration water used in animal feed enables these valuable compounds to be evaluated before they are lost.

• Bran

Bran is used added to ruminant feed, in animal carbohydrate, protein, mineral and vitamin supplements. It is generally used in wheat bran, dairy and beef cattle rations. When used in poultry rations, it draws attention as a source of protein and minerals.

• Razmol

It is the crushed and flour type of bran that is ground in the mill. It contains high protein and carbohydrates.

• Wheat red dog

It is a feed with high starch made from Bonkalite wheat. It also contains endosperm. In addition to being used in the feed industry, it is also used in the nuts industry and glue production. There is protein percentage is 9%, raw cellulose amount 3%, moisture maximum 13.5% and ash maximum 1.8%.

• Broken Wheat

It is also called broken wheat. In addition to minerals such as iron and zinc, vitamin B derivatives are also has.

Sugar Industry Products :

• Molasses

Molasses is made from sugar beets and used as an additive in addition to cattle recipes. It is a by-product in sugar production, It is rich in energy and slightly more than 150 kg of molasses added to the ration produces the energy that 500 kg of barley will give. It increases milk yield and enables the animal to enter heat in time.

• Sugar Beet Pulp Pellet

It is one of the ideal nutritional elements in the ration of small and bovine animals. It is a secondary by-product of beet sugar factories. It helps to increase in milk yield by 1/3.It provides ease of digestion and increases appetite. It also contains 8 percent protein.

Other Products :

Products such as fat, malt chili, meat - bone flour, fish flour are also used as raw materials in the feed production of some animals. The ratio needs to be accurate for the productivity of cattle, ovine and poultry. Raw materials are added in separate proportions in each process of the animals. Machines used for animal feed production are also prepared and programmed according to all these rates. Buying mixes as fabrication also varies depending on the quality of the product. If you want your animals to be productive, happy and healthy, you can ensure that they lead a happy life by feeding them the feed you trust.
